Here I have some questions: I want to know is there any original historical figure behind this witch (Tahuantinsuyo…develop form Inca Empire?), and which type of striker unit she is using.

Well, this Witch is new. I've created. But her name is Hernanda Valdez Rivadeneira. Based in Hernan Valdez Rivadeneira, a colonel in Ecuadorian Air Force. I created this type of Strikers, based in a Curtiss-Wright CW-19R, an airplane used in Ecuador during the Ecuadorian–Peruvian War in 1941. The weapon is a Browning M1919. The logo is a design of a possible 510th squadron, like the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, but I put the name of "Latin Witches", a reference to the countries in the continent of Strike Witches Universe(like Amazonas, Azteca, maybe Neue Karlsland). And I created a flag for Tahuantinsuyo based in countries like Ecuador and Peru, but with a change in the order of colors.

I see, after that I have checked up the data of this pilot. And I also found that the only ace from Ecuador is Cosimo Rennella, who served in the Italian Royal Air Force during WW1.

Actually,the only fighter pilot from Latin America that I could remeber is Fernando Soto, a Honduran fighter pilot who participated in the 1969 "Soccer War". He flew F4U-5N Corsair during that war, and shot down one P-51 Mustang and two FG-1 (land-based version of Corsair), and that is the only Corsair verses Corsair aerial dogfight in history.

It is a shame that none of the pilot from Latin Americas have the chance to acheive the title of ace after the WW1..

Well, I am not trying to discourage you, but I think may be you should not have too much expectation on that...

Firstly, Humikane already have a lot of planned witches on his hand, not just the witches from those JFW but also others; secondly, it seems that Humikane has put more favor on the witches from the Axis Powers, and actually the original historical figure behind your witch is not a very famous one; finally, I don't think Humikane could understand English...

Anyway, just try it and don't take it too serious.

By the way, personally I also created some witches setting at the past, but due to my poor drawing skills...do you have any interest in that?

Well, this is my first time creating a character, but only I have a little of experience working in Illustrator, and I'm not good creating new characters. This was my first try. But I'd like to show my work to Humikane.

In fact, as an university student majoring history, I have visited Europe several times. During those trips, I visited some of the heavily bombed city in Germany (like Berlin and Dresden), and some of the remains of concentration camp (like Dachau and Auschwitz). I think I could understand the destruction and pain done by the war, and talking about military history does not mean that I want to start another war, OK?

After WW1, the Latin American countries still involved in WW2 and some of the minor conflicts. For example, Brazil and Mexico sent expedition forces to join the Allied forces during WW2; and there were a lot minor conflicts occurred between those Latin American countries during the mid 20th century. During those conflicts, some of the pilots had the chance to become an ace, but they could not make it- that is the only thing I want to talk about.

As an Australian, I would be really happy to see some Australian witches! We have quite a handful of aces.

And I've been working to create possible flags to some countries of Strike Witches Universe like Amazonas and Azteca. Because I see that these countries don't have a representative flag
